Mleeta Resistance Tourist Landmark - Lebanon

Naming

"Mleeta," attributed to the original name of the region, is the mountain where the Mujahideen had garrisoned during the entire period of the Israeli occupation of south Lebanon until liberation took place in 2000. It is thought that the origin of the word "Mleeta" is Syriac, in which it means “repletion.”

This tourist landmark is run by the Lebanese Association for Tourism & Tradition
