The Abyss:
Holds a structural scenic display over a distance of
3500 m2, and lies to the west of the landmark,
symbolizing the defeat and fading of the occupation.
This exhibit has been formed of armored vehicles and
weapons that were left behind by the Israeli enemy
and its collaborators. The resistance started
gaining these booties in 1982 until the July war of
2006. At the center of the abyss is the "Merkava
Mark 4" tank, the pride of the Israeli military
industry, sunk in dirt with its muzzle knotted,
indicating the neutralization of the Israeli
sophisticated military machine in the fight against
the will and steady faith of the resistance
fighters.
The Pathway:
A rugged bushy trail where thousands of Mujahedeen
had positioned during the years of occupation. From
there, they launched to execute military operations
against the opposing enemy outposts, reaching the
occupied buffer zone. This trail demonstrates
different combative scenes of the resistance
fighters on a slope of 250 meters in length.
The Cave:
One of the posts that was built by the resistance
fighters for shelter. It was dug in rotation by more
than 1000 freedom fighters over a span of 3 years.
It is 200 meters deep and holds different chambers
and provisions. More than 7000 resistance fighters
had garrisoned in that post.
The Outlook:
A novel area that overlooks the villages and cities
of Iqlim al Tuffah, Zahrani, Nabatiyeh, Saida, Sour
and the areas that were liberated by the resistance
in 1985.
Line of Fire:
Pieces of the resistance weapons are displayed along
this trail that ascends a distance of 200 meters. It
shows how the resistance had developed its military
structure since 1982, blending old combat methods
and techniques with new ones to innovate its special
academy. It drastically changed the equilibrium of
the military science.
Liberation Square:
Forms an open space for gathering and resting, with
different models of the resistance weapons placed
along its sides. A wall rests at its front as a
niche with a glassy panel at its center, carved with

the July war of 2006.
